Deploy North Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, trading as Plenti, is the data controller for the personal information described on this page. Plenti is a meal planning, recipe, and grocery-list app for personal, non-commercial use.
The information you enter directly during onboarding and in the app — household size, allergens, dietary preferences, weekly grocery budget, and the meals and basket items you save. We do not require or support account creation, so none of this is tied to an identity we control.
Entirely on your device, in local app storage, for everything except Household features (see below). It is never transmitted to us, because we don't operate a backend server for this data. It is included in iCloud/iTunes device backups if you have those enabled at the OS level, subject to Apple's own backup encryption.
If you set up or join a shared Household, your display name, the meals you vote for or request, and related activity are synced through Apple's CloudKit so other people in your Household can see them — this is handled entirely by Apple's iCloud infrastructure under your own iCloud account; we don't operate that sync ourselves or see this data.
Your allergens, dietary preferences, and weekly budget are not included in this sync and remain local to your device. Anyone you invite into a Household can see the shared data above once they accept.
If you purchase a subscription, purchase and entitlement status (e.g. "is this device currently subscribed") is processed by our subscriptions provider, RevenueCat, and by Apple as the payment processor. We don't see or store your payment details.
See RevenueCat's own privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy for how they handle this data.
If you enable dinner reminders, the reminder text (which recipe, if any, is planned) is scheduled locally on your device via Apple's notification system. This never leaves your device.
If you import a recipe from a link, Plenti fetches that specific page on your behalf and saves the result to your own device only. We don't store a copy on our own servers, and it isn't shared with other users.
We don't sell your personal data, run advertising, or share your allergen/dietary/health-adjacent information with third parties — except the minimum needed to operate core functionality (processing a subscription purchase through Apple/RevenueCat, or Household sync through Apple's CloudKit if you choose to use that feature).
Review what's saved any time in the Profile tab.
Erase everything Plenti has stored on this device immediately via Profile → Delete My Data — this is permanent and cannot be undone.
Uninstalling the app has the same effect as deleting your data. Leaving a Household stops further sync but doesn't retroactively remove data already seen by other members.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal information, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time — the in-app controls above cover these directly. If you're unhappy with how we've handled a request, you can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Plenti is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
